INSPIRE Workshop in The Campus of EEPIS

National workshop Inspire carried out for the first time by EEPIS. Located at the theater on 19-20 October 2009. Participants who attend are the representatives of several circles. Students and some of the industries associated with the satellite, such as LAPAN and PT. Telkom Indonesia.

Inspire (Indonesian Nano Satellite Platform Initiative for Research and Education) is an initiative of non-profit project that aims to build and develop satellite technology platforms (especially nano-satellites) among universities in Indonesia. This project placed students as the prime mover and colleges as container operations center

Inspire workshop theme this time is the Nano Satellites for Education and Research Initiative for The Technology and Industrial Development.

EEPIS seriousness of holding INSPIRE are visible from the workshop which contain the presentations material by experts of nanosatellite and microsatellite both from domestic and abroad. Among others, Prof. Ebrhard Gill (aeroscope Engineering TUDelft, The Netherlands), Mr. Jeroen Rotteveel (ISIS, Netherlands), Ir. Dwi Hartanto, M.Sc. (Inspire-n3Xt Delft), Dr. Khoirul Mr Anwar (JAIST, Japanese), Dr.Ridanto Poetra Eko (ITB) and other satellite experts.

As a committee, EEPIS involved their students and lecturers. This collaboration is increasingly showing seriousness of EEPIS to develop nano satellites among the students. Procurement of this event has also been prepared in advance. "About a month we prepare all the logistics for the workshop was" said Kemalasari, the organizers of inspire.

The workshop is very useful for future Indonesia is not supported by the number of participants who are present.
